Hello everybody and welcome back to YouTube and News the podcast. My name is Benedict Townsend. You may know me

from YouTube and News the podcast and also from YouTube News. You may notice, or the more keen-eared

among you, might notice that things sound a little bit different this week and you may assume it's

because, oh, England's gone back into lockdown and so Benedict's not in the studio as usual this week.

But that's not true. I actually am in the studio.

It's just that, well, I hate to put him on blast, but producer Joe has, he stopped trying,

to be quite honest. He's making the show bad. The worst part is I don't even think on purpose.

I just think he has given up and the ineptitude is overwhelming him. I asked him to plug in the microphone,

hey, I'm not a tech guy. And he plugged it into a satsuma. And even I know that's not correct.

So I guess boo, producer Joe, the man who has full control over the edit of this show and can

make me say whatever he wants, I have no worries about questioning him

and his authority. And I'd like to conclude, as always, by saying, I am an huge idiot face.

podcast. My name's Benedict Townsend. You may remember me from the intro to this show. We've got a

great episode of YouTube and News the podcast for you this week. We've got some YouTube news stories.

We've got a brand new installment of Rat, the story of a rat. We've got questions from the audience,

unfortunately. And, you know, we'll just be covering all the biggest goings-on in the world of the last

week. You know, it was not a huge week for news stories. Not much happened.

for a bit of context, some people have been running for president, and, you know, it seemed pretty

clear for a long time, who was going to win, me. And it seemed pretty clear who was going to lose,
