We've lived in Myrtle Beach now for four years and we've had snow once.

And it was all of, I think, maybe a half inch.

It was beautiful while it was falling.

And it was a Saturday morning. I remember getting up and having a cup of

coffee and looking out the back window and watching the snowfall and lay on our backyard and on the

roof of the house behind ours and thinking, I miss this. I miss watching the the snowfall I didn't miss anything that

happened after that because we lived in Maryland before we moved to South

Carolina we would have most winters measurable snow there were a couple of

winters where we had full-on blizzards, two, three-foot snowfalls.

And they were always exciting in the moment as the snow was falling.

And then after the snow was done, the excitement really kind of diminished quite quickly.
