I referenced this yesterday during yesterday's walk. This was the final Calvin and Hobbs comic strip ever. And Calvin, the six-year-old

boy, says to Hobbs, wow, it really snowed last night. Isn't it wonderful? And Hobbs says,

everything familiar has disappeared. The world looks brand new.

And yes, we did get snow last night,

and I am bundled up, multi-layered, multi-hatted,

brand new gloves that are thick, that are warm.

In fact, I'm a little bit hot at the moment,

so I'm gonna leave the home office,

and we're gonna exit the house through the garage.

So still a little bit more of an echo effect.

And the garage door is coming up.

And here's my brand new world.

I'm not sure how much snow we actually got.

Oh!

So there was some snow on the bottom of the garage door and as it came up, it fell down and

missed me by just a couple of inches. It looks like we got a couple of inches. It also looks like the snow has packed down since it has fallen.
