Welcome back for the Flash number 220, the February, March, 1973 issue featuring a cover

The first story in this issue is the slowest man on earth

written by Kerry Bates, penciled by Irv Novick, inked by Joe Giella. We begin on a Sunday in the Allen

household where lo and behold, it is Barry who is making breakfast. See, that's tradition. He makes

breakfast for Iris on Sunday. She lays in bed and he brings it to her.

It's probably not very good.

Barry doesn't seem like a great cook to see.

Iris makes breakfast the other six days of the week, so this is her day.

So as Barry is bringing her very special breakfast, he starts shaking so hard that he drops it.

Of course, Iris has to be disappointed. Her breakfast is gone.

Why? Why did this happen? Well, it's because Barry is shaking on control B. Can't do anything about it,

and he's going to have to check it out as the flesh throws on his costume, and we assume he leaves.

We go to Blue Valley where Wally West has just returned from a dynamite prom night.

If it was anything like mine, people got drunk, they vomited, a window got broken, there was awkward

attempts at making out, things didn't go as well as planned. Very tiring, though, very tired

when you got home. So he's ready to get a good

Sunday sleep. Suddenly, he starts vibrating, and he's going to have to check it out as Kid Flash

throws on the costume. He heads out. We have a nice split screen of both of them tracking the

vibrations that have been causing them to shake to some location. We see the flash running along a country road,
