Our Aquaman story is The Wife of Aquaman, written by Jack Miller, featuring

art by Nick Cardi. First of all, apologies for the long delay between episodes. I finished

moving. It was a lot of work, and everything was in a shambles for a very long time. Now I found all my cords.

Things are genuinely sort of placed in places where we can live,

so I can now freely podcast without feeling awful that I'm not unpacking boxes

or doing any of the other things to get my life sort of together in the way that it goes.

I mean, it's never all the way together,

but that's for a different podcast, not for this.

All right, let's get straight into this story.

We begin, Atlantis.

The ancestral home of Aquaman and Aquilad,

and Aquaman has been summoned

in an urgent manner he arrives to find surprisingly he

has been selected as as leader of Atlantis you see Juvore the former leader died and there's a lot of

arguing and a civil war almost broke out and everyone to say the best thing to do was he elect

someone to be king who would barely ever be

around, but who would show up if the leaders, the people who do all the day-to-day stuff,

royally fucked something up. Aquaman can always show up at the last minute's safe stuff,

but most of the other time, Aquaman's going to be fighting giant crabs and stuff.

So he's going to be away, but you can always save him if they get into triple.
