Hello and welcome to a very special edition of the Sophie Ridge on Sunday podcast.

After a tumultuous week in Westminster where the Brexit divorce deal was finally revealed

and with the Prime Minister's future hanging in the balance,

I sat down with Theresa May herself.

Plus, Labour's leader, Jeremy Corbyn, joined us in the studio.

Now, the bar for dramatic weeks in politics is pretty high after the last few years of shocks and surprises,

but by any standard, the last seven days has been pretty incredible.

On Wednesday, the Cabinet held a marathon five-hour meeting to sign off the Brexit deal,

which was then published and has been poured over ever since.

It revealed plans for a customs backstop that the UK can't unilaterally leave,

differences in rules between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK,

guarantees on citizens' rights and a continued role for the European Court of Justice.

As most of us could have predicted, it was a divisive document.

And so it proved.

So divisive, in fact, that the Brexit
