If you pay attention to the auto industry, you know that battery electric vehicles are all the rage right now

they're being sold in greater numbers and claiming a greater percentage of market share than

ever before there's more than a hundred new vehicle models on the way.

EVs are a Ballyhooed talking point with regard to the federal government strategy

in combating climate change.

But they are not the only alternative to the internal combustion engine.

Perhaps more quietly, hydrogen fuel cells are also having their moment right now.

Their only emission from the tailpipe is water. Companies like General Motors,

Toyota, Hyundai, Daimler, and others have all made big investments in hydrogen.

Now with war in Europe, EU leaders are

laser focused on energy independence and energy security. A linchpin of their

targets and goals, hydrogen.

They were already in a leadership position on hydrogen development,

and since Russia's invasion of the Ukraine,

they've quadrupled their planned investment in hydrogen through 2030.
