Today we're talking about Superman's anime, originally printed in Superman's pal,

We began with Superman returning from a trip into outer space he took to do scientific experiments

and making air quotes around scientific experiences. He just goes out there to hang out and get away

from everyone. While he was out in space, he found another trophy for Jimmy Olson, a strange

crystal. So yeah, Jimmy's just got a whole shelf in his

apartment, which is stuff that Superman gives him, they're great friends. How do we know?

Well, Superman shows up with this strange rock, and Jimmy Olson responds with,

Thanks, Superman, you're a great pal. I admire you more than anyone else I know. That is true

friendship. So Superman leaves the crystal to be added to all

the other space junk he brings back for Jimmy Olson. But this crystal, of course, amidst strange rays,

like all crystals from space do. And these, when they get inside your head, they reverse your

strongest emotions into opposite feelings.

And what's Jimmy's strongest feeling, his admiration in love for Superman?

And we see the crystals rays start to work on Jimmy, and all of a sudden he hates Superman.

In fact, the next day at the Daily Planet, he's assigned to write a headline about a caper that Superman broke up

just the day before. And as he sits down, we see what he types out. Pretty hard dis.

It says, crook-lute located by Snooperman. That hurts. Snooperman. All the hate boiling inside Jimmy's mind, and he unleashed it with the epic

dis of Snooperman while Perry White sees it, and he freaks out. What if Superman came in and saw this?
