Tom's Week with Jimmy Olson number seven or a bizarro week is actually like three of our weeks.

Hi everyone. I'm back. Sorry, I lost my voice for a few days and you might notice my voice is still a little

rough but good enough to do the show. Today we're going to do a bizarre story and I love

bizarro stories,

because they are the most ridiculous type of Superman stories you can do.

And the story we're doing is Jimmy Olson's Cooke Scoops,

originally printed in Adventure Comics No. 287,

where Bizarro was a backup feature in that for a while,

written by Jerry Siegel, pencilull pencil by john forte inked by

george klein with the issue being edited by mort wisinger now i'm not going to do the bizarro voice

the bizarro speak because that's just going to be really hard to follow and it i know bizarro speak

is supposed to be like opposite of what the bizarro is trying to say,

but it never really quite works that way.

It's just more of like a twisted version of what you're trying to say.

But anyway, great story.

Where do we begin?

Daily Planet, where Jimmy Olson's getting yelled at by Perry White.

You see Jimmy Olson turned in a story about the city's water commissioner taking an ocean cruise, which Perry White thinks is a boring story, which I agree, unless it takes an ocean cruise using taxpayers' money. Then I think that's actually a story the Daily Planet should be covering. But we don't get that sort of detail. We don't know.

And Perry White is just flipping out.

He's telling Jimmy Olson, that's not a new story.

A new story is man bites dog, or if the moon rises in the morning instead of the sun.

That's the story.
