| 0:44.0 | Now to kick things off and these are not going to be in any particular order, but for me being a nutritionist, this one really speaks to my heart very, very deeply. |
| 0:54.0 | And one of my biggest lessons in the last 20 years is that, number one, your body is made from the food that you eat. |
| 1:04.0 | This is something that was not really advocated or dissected or even kind of glimpsed into in my university courses. |
| 1:13.0 | When we were studying the nuclei of cells, we weren't getting the insight that this nuclei were looking at as made from nutrients. |
| 1:20.0 | When we were studying mitochondria, we weren't really getting the insight that this mitochondria is made from our menu. |
| 1:26.0 | Every single cell in our body is made from the food that we eat. |
| 1:30.0 | Whether we're talking about the cells of our heart, our brain, our skin, it's all made from food. |
| 1:36.0 | When you see me, when you look in the mirror, you're looking at the food that you've eaten. |
| 1:41.0 | You're looking at the food that this person has eaten. |
| 1:45.0 | And the nutrients that we've consumed or the lack thereof, and that's the power of food. |
| 1:52.0 | So when we're going to school for a set amount of years, investing all of this crazy money to get a university education, |
| 2:00.0 | and we'll just say that we're studying to be a cardiologist and we're passionate about the heart. |
