Hello, my friends, and welcome to today's Monday episode. Guys, this is fresh off the press. I am

recording this on Monday the 5th of January. I'm going to air it right after this. So thank you so

much for joining me on the start of 2026. I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and a new

year that suited you, whatever you ended up doing. I personally decided to stay home.

So I did a little thing. I did actually have a glass of wine at my favorite little cute pub around

the corner and visioned part of what I'm going to share in today's episode. I was thinking about

the new year on New Year's Eve, but had no actual intention. My inner voice didn't want to go out to the

plans that I was invited to to socialize or anything. I really wanted to go to bed early and get up

and enjoy the start of the new year more than stay up for the late period until the clock stroke 12.

So that was what I did. And then I really feel like if you listen to the episode with Alison Schaft from last week, I literally did what she said. So if you heard in the episode that I said, you know, I'm thinking about actually doing this and following what she suggested, I ended up doing that. And lo and behold, I went this weekend on Saturday. What was this? Yeah, Saturday morning. And then I came back Sunday night last night to Edinburgh, Scotland. I went this weekend on Saturday morning and then I came back Sunday night last night

to Edinburgh, Scotland.

I went to a hotel because as Allison shared in her episode, even though she does that hotel

stay with her partner for a night or two every year for their beginning of the New Year's

and setting their visions for what they're going to accomplish, I had never gone away for such an

event. And though I have no partner, I thought I can still go away, or at least even my first thought

was to stay somewhere in local London, because there's so many hotels nearby, that I could just

go to another part of town, basically. But as I started to search for the hotels that felt,

and this was interesting, like the energy I wanted

26 to feel like. So as I thought about which hotel to pick, it wasn't just, oh, what's available,

what's in the price range I want, blah, blah, blah. It was also what feels like the energy of

2026 for me. And the ones that I saw that felt like 26 energy were still quite pricey with the holiday season in London.
