It is such a great question and something that I've become pretty darn good at over the

years because any sort of traveling or event anything bigger

than the regular day today for me has been a challenge and now that I know what to do about that it's become much easier to manage as I move through my days and travels and such.

So I do have a few tricks that I'd like to share and the very first thing is

any time I have a long flight or any sort of major event like a speaking engagement or anything like that

that as she says throws a routine to the wind I create as much spaciousness the day before and the day after as I possibly can.

And what I mean by that is I'll clear my calendar to the best of my ability the day before and after to give myself plenty

of time to prepare and to just gently move into what's coming.

If I have loads of activities to do the day before and the day after,

it makes it that much more stressful during the actual event or during the actual travel.

One of the very best things that I recommend is pre-planning and within that spacious time beforehand you can start to take care of minor tasks

that will eventually end up with having everything that needs to be done
