I want you to imagine that you're a civilian who's about to go onto a submarine.

You're only going to go on for a couple of weeks, but you're about to embark as a civilian aboard a military submarine.

You're a journalist, or you're there to oversee in some capacity, though you are not to interfere with the command, structure, or operations here, just going onto a submarine.

The submarine, to make you feel safe as one of my listeners in this hypothetical,

is run entirely by women. Perhaps that's why you're there.

It's nothing but women aboard this crew.

I don't want you to think about this little experiment

in terms of real-world danger or gamemanship or anything along those lines.

I want you to think about yourself on this trip, on the submarine, as the sole passenger,

who is not a part of an organization.

A couple of days before you board, you're told that the captain doesn't like you.

It has nothing to do with you personally.

They just don't want any civilians on board.

They could see it as trouble, but they've been given orders by their command.

And that command has said to let you on, but you're warned, don't mess with the command

structure, it won't mess with you.

Stay clear.
