I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. In this episode, I'm going to be talking a little bit about

decluttering as we go through the different areas of the house and clean because this is kind of

the natural time of year to start decluttering. So I'm going to have a few decluttering tips for you

and also talk you through cleaning the entire house.

Okay, and I realize that it sounds a little bit different today.

I'm actually having to record this episode while riding in my husband's

truck. So we are driving down the highway. I'm not the one driving or anything, but there's a

little bit of a hum in the background, which is just how it sounds when you're riding in a big truck.

So, with that said, let's get right into the episode. I know it's been a stressful time of

year. You might be tired, but just take a deep breath. We're going to get through this.

Maybe light a candle or turn on your wax warmer.

It's your house smelling nice and freshen up a little bit.

Make sure that you're in kind of a relaxed mindset to get to work.

You don't want anything to get out of hand just because you've been busy. So let's get to work. You don't want anything to get out of hand just because you've been busy.

So let's get to work. Maybe start a load of laundry. If you have some dirty clothes to wash

or some sheets to wash or some towels, let's get that load of laundry going. And then once you start your laundry, you're going to want to gather up any dirty

dishes from around the house since we're going to be working in the kitchen which is always the

main priority area other than just the entrance of your home. But if you're like me, the kitchen usually

needs attention first. So gather up those dishes. Maybe there's a glass on an end table,

or maybe there's a coffee mug on your bedroom nightstand.
