while you clean. So I'm recording this episode on Christmas Eve. Chances are a lot of you are listening to this after the fact because it's such a busy time of year.

If you will be having company tonight or tomorrow, you may want to listen to a few episodes while you clean.

And this is the 28th episode, so there are plenty of episodes to listen to if you're not already caught up.

But if this is just a regular cleaning day for you or maybe the beginning of a deep cleaning session,

you might want to start a load of laundry. If you're frantic about guests, you can always, you know,

put the laundry out in the garage or something out of sight for now and just focus on your house.

But maybe you have some things that you need to wash. So you might want to start a load of laundry. Maybe light a candle, freshen up if you're expecting someone to stop by or just to feel good

about yourself. And then, of course, you'll want to get started in a priority area like the kitchen.

We ended up cooking our Christmas dinner yesterday, which was the 23rd, because for some reason our refrigerator is not

working, even though it's only about five and a half months old. Well, I mean, I don't know when

it was manufactured, but we bought it brand new less than six months ago. And even on the coldest

setting now, it's 55 degrees inside the refrigerator, which is bad. I guess it's supposed to be

below 40. And you can definitely tell when my daughter was staying with us, she said the milk was a little bit warm,

and we thought it was because it got left out for a while after our grocery shopping trip,

you know how that is. But we soon discovered that it was kind of warm, and we kept adjusting

it and adjusting it and then on the coldest setting

it's 55 I mean we used a pool thermometer but it's probably accurate because it's definitely not

cold enough I had some of the you know you can just tell by the milk if you drink milk and then I

had some of those tortillas that you buy where they're raw but you just

you know cook them up and they went moldy like just like the day after I opened the package
