Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Girls' Camp podcast. I'm your host, Haley Rawl.

And in honor of Valentine's Day, I wanted to do something at least loosely Valentine's

Day month themed, I decided to ask you to share with me your dating horror stories,

but not just any dating horror stories, church dating horror stories. And you delivered. You delivered in a big way,

in such a big way, that I actually am going to make this episode a two-parter. There were just

too many good stories. I mean, good, more like bad stories, but bad, which makes them good and entertaining and funny

and crazy, that I split this into two parts. And how we're doing this is I am doing cringe

version of church dating stories and then we're going to do the unhinged version. I was actually going through the stories that I

chose and trying to like color categorize them if they were cringe or unhinged. It's not an

exact science, but you get the idea or warming up with the cringe stories this episode and then

next episode we'll get into the unhinged. I ended up pulling these

stories like reading through the submissions and choosing the ones I wanted to share on the podcast

at McDonald's. We have a McDonald's in our neighborhood. It's like a new nice McDonald's.

And my girls, they are three and a half.

Actually, they're getting closer to four. They're four in March. They love the McDonald's play place.

Finally, hallelujah. We had a hard run with playplaces. And I tried to take them to the Chick-fil-A play place. They never really

caught on. But they love the play place at McDonald's now. And so I have been bringing my laptop

and essentially using McDonald's like a coffee shop and getting some work done while they play

at the play place. And I think if you would have told me like five years ago,

you will be at the McDonald's play place while your twins play and you will be going through

church dating horror stories for your post-Mormon podcast. I wouldn't believe you. It was kind of a
