update that Tik-Tok wants to have out there right now. And you know what's funny, it's not actually an update.

Well, it's an update in a sense that we're finding out about it now,

but it's kind of an investigation that dove back

into the origin into the history of Tik-Tok.

And it's news that's surfacing today

about how Tik-Tok has been for over a year

in violation of Android policies when it comes to acquiring device

specific data in a form of a MAC address.

Now each device that's out there in the world has its own

identifier when it connects to the internet you've heard of this thing it's called a

Mac address it's unique only to that specific device and if you have this

information you can do some you can gather some information some Intel on a much more intimate level.

And you can target people on a much more intimate level.

And to be honest with you, we probably can't even imagine the scope to which this could be a powerful tool for you to have and

and how powerful it must be to be outlawed completely by both app stores by the

way iOS and Android.

However, Tik-Tok had been using for about a year

a loophole in order to continue to acquire

Mac addresses from its users.
