iPhone shipments set Q2 U.S record as competitors see pandemic decline.

You know that iPhone SE? You know what will it turns out people wanted a cheap iPhone. Really? Crazy idea. Crazy

stuff. People wanted an iPhone uh uh, 399.

They were sick of the $1,000 thing, and to be honest with you,

Apple hadn't really played in that space in a little while at that price point,

and it turns out it was it was likely the right move it was

great timing this this device because it just sort of hit I recall I was up there quarantine filming and the SE came out and I saw all the interest on the first couple of videos I did on the subject and I realized man price is the thing right now.

Price is the thing above all else.

People love to get new things.

Well, they love to upgrade their stuff but it's just not it's not nearly as fun

when you watch the bank account go to zero in order to get your new thing that's

no fun you want to see a few bucks left over you want paid a hydro?

Yes. And so that's what this device allowed. It allowed for people to upgrade from devices like the iPhone

six and six S which as we've talked about here

people were hanging on to those including Tom Brady yeah it's a nice profile he

had the six S in the when he was driving around. People were very

concerned. He said you make 25 million a year. You're waiting for the SE top

Apple is really the only the only company that did well out of the whole bunch out of the big players.

For some reason, Lenovo did okay, but we're talking about 10% annual growth for Apple.
