Hurricane Ian made landfall as a category four storm in Florida yesterday.

Flooding and winds hit the west side of the state in areas like Naples, Fort Myers, and Tampa.

Winds were over 160 miles per hour. And as of recording this podcast, there were over

two million residents without power. Ian is the worst storm to hit the west coast of Florida ever.

The eye of the storm was 30 miles in diameter. Even Orlando is facing storm surges. Disney World was closed yesterday and today,

and they asked hotel guests to shelter in place. They're currently waiving cancellation fees for

anyone who cancels their reservations. By the time Ian hit Central Florida last night, it became a Category 1 storm, but still brought intense wind and flooding.
