Yesterday, President Biden ordered U.S. intelligence agencies to investigate the origins of the

coronavirus, giving the administration's first public indication of the possibility that

the virus may have been accidentally leaked from a lab.

In a statement, Biden made it clear that the intelligence agencies had not yet reached

a consensus on how the virus originated, but directed them to investigate and report

back in 90 days.

And I will definitely be tuning in in 90 days.

Early yesterday morning, a transit worker opened fire at a rail yard in San Jose, California,

killing eight people, many of whom were fellow employees.

The shooter was also reported dead.

Buildings were evacuated and light rail service was shut down as bomb squad teams searched

the area for explosives.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott is expected to sign a law this week that will allow virtually

anyone over the age of 21 to carry a handgun, without requiring a permit.

This type of law, known as a constitutional carry law, essentially eliminates most restrictions

on the ability to carry handguns.

This will not be the largest of 20 other states to adopt such a law.
