President Biden and Donald Trump will face off in two televised election debates.

Yesterday, Biden released a video challenging Trump to debate him.

Well, make my day, pal.

I'll even do it twice.

So let's pick the dates, Donald.

I hear you're free on Wednesdays.

For some context, Wednesdays are when Trump doesn't have to be in court for his New York criminal trial.

And the two campaigns reached a deal. The presidential rivals will meet for their first debate on CNN on June 27th.

Then they'll clash again on ABC News on September 10th. That's a Thursday and a Tuesday.

The plan breaks the decades old tradition of having three independently organized meetings in the fall.

And it's a big gamble for both of them.

Biden is 81, and if he stumbles or appears forgetful, he risks confirming some American suspicions that he's too old for the job.

Trump is only four years younger.

He has also faced doubts about his age, and a face-to-face meeting could remind Americans how

volatile Trump can be.

Number two, Michael Cohen will testify again in Trump's criminal trial in New York today.

Trump's former attorney is a key witness in this case, but he has serious credibility issues.

He served prison time for multiple crimes, including for lying to Congress in 2018.

Today, Cohen's cross-examination continues, and Trump's lawyers will once again try to discredit him.

They want to convince the jury that Cohen's testimony can't be trusted.
