Number one, Ohio Senator JD Vance was the headline act last night at the Republican

National Convention.

Donald Trump's 39-year-old running mate introduced himself and his family to the nation.

He focused on his upbringing in poverty in Ohio.

It was a hard-scrabble pulling yourself up from the bootstrap's story, and Republicans hope it will

resonate with working class and rural America, especially those in critical swing states.

I promise you one more thing.

To the people of Middletown, Ohio, and all the forgotten communities in Michigan, Wisconsin,

Pennsylvania, and Ohio and every corner of our nation, I promise you this. I will be a vice president who

never forgets where he came from.

Today, Trump will deliver his big speech on the last night of the Convention in Milwaukee.
