Starting with a hiring update, former Seattle Mayor Bruce Harrell has a new job.

The Seattle-based textile company Phileum announced yesterday, they've named Harrell their new CEO.

Phileum develops fabrics that are designed to be sustainable and don't contain forever chemicals known as PFS.

He succeeds the founder, Raj Shah, who will remain chairman of the board.

Herald will also serve on Phileum's board as general counsel.

Moving on to what our current politicians are up to, U.S. Senator Patty Murray is calling

for a federal investigation into what she calls a corporate-sponsored

road trip by a Trump cabinet member. The Washington Democrat questioned Transportation Secretary

Sean Duffy this week about a reality TV documentary following him and his family on a so-called

Great American Road Trip. The film is sponsored by several companies that Duffy's department

is charged with regulating, including Boeing, Shell, and Royal Caribbean. Duffy says the company's got
