Today, the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma will host a day of remembrance to commemorate the forced removal and incarceration of Japanese Americans in May

1942. The event will feature talks from Japanese-American writers whose work explores identity,

history, and resilience. The event runs from 4 to 8 this evening and is free to attend.

Washington's unemployment rate has ticked up once again. It's now 5.2% up slightly from March.

State officials say Washington's economy lost about 4,500 jobs in April.
