We'll start with a warning from the county. Lakes and rivers in the Puget Sound region are extra dangerous right now. County officials say December's flooding created some new drowning hazards.

They say flooding moved around logs and rocks that might not be visible above the surface.

They're also warning Lake Washington and other bodies of water are still very cold despite the

warm weather.

King County officials say drowning deaths have been at historically high levels for seven

straight years.
