Welcome to First Thing with Kevin Mano. Real quick look at all the headlines. I feel like there's a lot today, so let's jump in. The show starts right now.

And we always start with the top story.

Yesterday during a news conference, former President Trump agreed to debate Vice President

Harris. He previously ruled out the ABC

debate on September 10th, but it's back on. In addition to that he proposed two more

one hosted by Fox News on September 4th and one September 25th on NBC.

After his press conference, ABC News confirmed that both candidates have agreed

to attend their debate, so it's happening, September 10th.

Also yesterday authorities in Butler Township

released really dramatic body cam footage of police confronting the rally

shooter right before he opened fire. That video if you want to see it he's out there.

All right, okay, on to sports there's a ton.

First starting with the Olympics, the major headline out of Paris this morning is about

no a liles he took a bronze in the men's 200 meter final yesterday and he did it with

COVID he tested positive on Tuesday and raced anyway he got himself a bronze

and was taken out in a wheelchair.

The team USA women volleyball players advanced to the gold medal round after beating Brazil

yesterday.

Nice job.

The men play for bronze today. The men's basketball, gold medal game, is set.

Our dudes beat Serbia yesterday. It was a little too close for comfort though, is 95 to 91. Yikes, they're now going to move on to play France for Team USA's fifth consecutive gold medal.
