Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

Number one. Defense Secretary Pete Hegset had Signal installed on a Pentagon computer.

Hegset's use of signal has become a growing crisis for the Pentagon in recent weeks. It's a commercial unclassified messaging platform, but Hexeth used it to share sensitive

details about imminent military operations with family members and a journalist. Last night, the

post reported a new detail. Hegsetz ordered the installation

of signal on a desktop computer in his Pentagon office. In doing so, he effectively cloned the

signal app on his personal cell phone. The report shows the extent to which Hegeseth has integrated

use of the unclassified platform in his government work.

Several Democrats and at least one Republican have called for his resignation over the issue.

Yesterday, Hegeseth defended himself from critics and touted the changes he's bringing to the military.

Just a heads up, he used some pretty strong language.

No more distractions. No more social engineering. No more climate change worship.

No more electric tanks. No more gender confusion. No more pronouns. No more excuses. no more quotas, no more woke bullshit that undermines commanders and command climates.

Hexeth also took the unusual step of using official Pentagon social media to amplify messages of support for him keeping his job.
