The story that you told kind of hit home for me because I'm also a police officer and I got LASIC for that very same reason,

to not have to wear glasses out in the inclement weather when it's raining and this and that.

It's just a pain in the butt.

So I got the LASIC. It's always supposed to be a two-day off-work thing. So I go get it done on my

days off and I go back to work and I can't see anything. My computer in my car is like double

vision. I can't read addresses on signs or on mailboxes, nothing. So I go to my boss and I'm like,

hey, listen, I'm blind out here. I can't see. I don't know what to do. So they gave me some time

off, went back to the place where I got it done. Listen, what I tell you, I was off work for almost

seven weeks. Wow. Because of LASIC. So they gave me everything they could. They threw the kitchen sink at me. I was there every week for updates. I was there every other week for them to check my eyes, to dilate it, look for all this other stuff. So I can see where it would be frustrating for somebody.
