Hey, hey, BA fam, Mandra here. I just first want to say thank you so much. We have been overwhelmed by so many beautiful messages of support and condolences for Tiffany and the entire Aliche and Smith family. Just in case you haven't heard. It's really difficult to even share this. I think it's the first time that I've said it out loud to you guys

0:22.3

versus just a social media post. But last month, very suddenly and unexpectedly, Tiffany lost her husband,

0:31.1

Jarrell, who you guys know better as Superman. Jarrell, I can't even put into words how special a human this man was.

0:41.2

If you've listened to our show for a while, it wouldn't take you long to realize just how

0:46.2

special Tiffany and Jarrell's relationship was. He will always be her Superman. He will always be

0:52.5

an amazing father to his daughter, Supergirl,

0:55.3

aka Alyssa. Thank you all for your patience as we give Tiffany time to heal through this really

1:01.2

difficult time, especially around the holidays. If you would like to send your support to Tiffany

1:07.7

and her family, the best way to do that is to keep Jarrell's memory alive. And you can do that

1:13.1

by making a donation, whatever you can, to one of two charities that we're going to link in our

1:19.3

show notes, that is United Way of Greater Newark and the Apostles House of Newark. Thank you again for

1:25.7

all of your support. If you're unable to make a donation,

1:28.4

that's totally fine. What we've asked everyone to do is just honestly, check in on a neighbor,

1:36.1

check in with your family, check in with a friend. Small acts of kindness were what Jarrell was all

1:44.0

about.

1:44.9

He was the kind of person who would call up friends and family in the morning every day to check in,

1:50.0

drop in to fix someone's broken appliance just because he had a few extra minutes.

1:55.6

He was a truly special, kind human being and he loved, loved, loved his community. So if you want to keep

2:03.3

Jarrell's memory alive, again, any small act of kindness in your community or with your loved

2:09.2

ones is a wonderful way to do that. I really hope that we will be back soon. In the meantime,

2:15.3

I hope you enjoy this throwback episode. Today's show,

2:19.3

just to bring it back, bring it back, Mandy. I'm shaking my shoulder, shrugging my shoulders
