These have been written about in science fiction for years, but do they actually exist?

Well, I did a little bit of research and according to NASA they do

Places where the magnetic field of earth connects to the magnetic field of the Sun

Which creates a straight uninterrupted path from the earth to the Sun?

Scutter says these portals open and close several times a day now

There is some belief that people can create portals through different types of rituals
