Hello and welcome to Psychic Teachers. Today we are going to be discussing Angels.

Deb is off this week, so it's just me. I'd like to start the show by discussing a little

history of the Angels, share some inspiring Angels stories, and then we'll conclude with a

meditation to connect with your Angel. So I've been fascinated by Angels since I was a little girl.

I remember in Catholic school we were taught that every one of us has our very own guardian angel.

I believe I've had my own angelic encounters and I'm sure many of you have had experiences with

these helpers as well. What I find fascinating is that every religion I've studied has some belief

in Angels or messengers or helpers as well. There has to be something to it if every religion and

culture has this belief. The word angel comes from the Greek word angelus, which means messenger.

The Hebrew word for angel is malach, which also means messenger. The Persian word for

angel is angerose, which means courier or messenger. Angels are beings that have never lived as humans.

However, there are exceptions. For example, it is said that the prophet Enoch was taken up to heaven

and became the angel Meditron. Angels are messengers of God. There are hundreds of examples of

angels that work throughout the centuries. They are mentioned in all major religions.

And they're even included in the Bible over 300 times. For example, in the Old Testament

uriel warned Noah of the flood, God tells Moses in the book of Exodus,

I am sending my angel to go before you and guard you on your way and lead you to the place I have

made ready for you. Archangel Michael fought with the devil over Moses' body. It is said that

Archangel Michael helped Joshua and his people at Jericho. Law talked to two angels,

and an angel spoke to Abraham in a dream. And what I find to be one of the audest stories in the

Bible, it was an angel who stays Abraham's hand when he's about to sacrifice his son.
