Romans chapter 5. When I was growing up, I was always amazed how my parents knew exactly what I had done wrong.

Remember that? When you're a little kid, he's like, how did they know? How did they know that I stole the chocolate candy from the drawer?

The reason there was chocolate all over my face.

Little, little, my mom wasn't exactly, you know, private investigator, but she knew.

And then I got a little older, and I started out smarting a time, but it didn't, you know,

I remember my mom, she used to make these chocolate chip cookies, and they were,

the most amazing chocolate chip cookies in and they were the most amazing chocolate

chip cookies in the world. They were really gooey. Something about the way she cooked them,

and she swapped some ingredients and stuff. I mean, you could barely pick them up the way it should be.

You know, they were just so gooey, and especially when they were warm. And, oh, man, but she'd make

those and then put them out on a big plate,

and they'd be all kind of piled up, just there yelling my name, Brett, Brett.

And she'd say, no cookies until after dinner, you know, kind of thing.

But I'd sneak up, and I would go and move the cookies around and rearrange them,

and I'd take one out and try to pile it up so it

looked like it wasn't missing, you know, and man, I just popped that in there. And she somehow

just always knew, you know. Well, then I got older and, you know, my older sisters, they were

one year older each of them. We were one year apart, all three of us, Jenny and Tammy. But Jenny and Tammy were

geniuses. You know, I was the youngest. So whenever they had the smarts, when my mom would come up

and ask the three of us, okay, which one of you put a hole in the wall? And my sisters will just

look right at me. And I would be like, I didn't do it. But Jenny and Tammy would looked down there, sanctimonious one year older, knows isn't me.
