But we'll draw our text this morning to Romans chapter 5 if you'd turn there with me.

Romans chapter 5.

While I was called up last week for my third experience of jury duty, Clackamas County.

And I've done this three times.

The first time they dismissed me once they found out I was a Christian pastor who loved police officers.

They said, oh, you're out.

That was the first time.

The second time I was called,

it was a murder case, a stabbing in a middle of a Walmart. I think it was a Walmart. It was some

big store. But that was like 15 years ago. But I thought, oh boy, you know, now jury duty,

if you've ever been called, it's a little bit of a pain. You're like, oh, brother, I've got a million things to do.

I had, they wanted me to do jury duty,

right when I was supposed to be preparing for Prophecy Update.

And I don't know, you guys probably think

I just show up to Prophecy Update,

kind of off the top of my head, just go,

but it's like writing a term paper. It really is. Like preparing for a prophecy update is a lot of work.

So I'm thinking, how am I going to prepare for the prophecy update and do jury duty at the same time?

And so I just thought, Lord, you're going to have to work this out, you know. But I thought it's my civic duty.

I had to kind of keep encouraging myself not to have a bad attitude.
