Have you ever felt that you've missed certain opportunities, only to watch them go by?

Oftentimes life is full of missed opportunities.

And I'm always thankful when, you know, you see the opportunity in advance.

Sometimes you realize only after the fact what kind of an opportunity you were missing.

In this chapter, we're going to have six opportunities that Jesus is going to give for people to

have belief or to not. To do great things or not. To be saved or not to be saved. All kinds of

opportunities Jesus is going to put before the people that are in this story.

And so let's take a look at these opportunities.

The first opportunity that's here in our text in Mark chapter 6 is right there in the first six verses.

And one of the things that we're going to see in this, the unbelief is there's three

different groups, kind of a separate sideline outline of this chapter if you want, is the

different cases of unbelief in chapter six. In a few chapters, we're going to have a guy who's

going to say, oh, Lord, help my unbelief.

Do you ever feel that? Lord, would you just help me out here? And if you remember, we have the

remedy that the Bible gives to us. We talked about Sunday. Faith comes by hearing and hearing

by the word of God. Faith by hearing and hearing by the word of God. That's what helps unbelief.

The Word of God.

And that's what Jesus is doing.

When Jesus comes and speaks to these people, there should be an imparting of faith.

But it's interesting because not everybody chooses to believe.

It's an interesting dynamic we're going to see in this chapter.
