Wednesday night we're gonna cover Mark chapter 7 Lord Willen so that's the plan at least.

So we're gonna just pick up where we left off. If you're just joining us, we're a church that goes right through the Bible, chapter by chapter, book by book.

And we don't skip a verse. And we happen to have ended on Wednesday night in chapter 6 so now we pick it up in mark chapter seven

did any of you go through a season of your life rebellious rebellion years how many guys had a

rebellious years section in your life okay yeah me too, me too. Fourth grade. Now, you guys laugh. I was a drug dealer

and I was in a gang in fourth grade. That's actually true. What I just said, sort of. I should say,

I sold these needles that I stole from my dad's drawer at his house. They were architect drafting

needles and I sold them to my buddies for a dollar a piece,

and I told them if they poked themselves with it, they'd get a sort of a hit off of that.

And I sold those for a buck.

So I was a drug, and I also joined a gang.

They called the Murder Gang at our Roush Elementary School.

And we thought, why did we call it murder game?

Because it was the meanest horrible word we could think of.

And so I did that.

Mr. Beach, which was my fourth grade teacher at Roush Elementary School,

he showed up on my front doorstep two times that year

to have to have a personal conversation with my parents about my behavior.

So fourth grade was my rebellious years. Now, shocking, though, there was one time that I got really in trouble for something

I didn't do. It was, I was, you know, after recess, I was running into the boys' bathroom before I

was supposed to go back to class, and I wanted to go wash my hands.
