So on the weekend, if you missed it this weekend, maybe you're out of town or what have you,

but we covered verses 1 through 11 of chapter 6 to kind of give us a heads up, head start,

I should say, for Wednesday night, because I'd like to continue plugging away through the scripture

in our current plan to get through the Bible in a reasonable amount of time. A buddy of mine's

doing a study through the Bible and he's been in Romans for like three years. I'm like, yeah,

I don't know. Hopefully you'll finish the Bible in your lifetime. It is tempting though,

isn't it? I mean, when the Bible's so rich, you can spend weeks and weeks and weeks, and especially

the book of Romans or wherever in the Bible.

So we are doing just a quick study through the Bible, and there's so much here, but we

have work to do.

So the recap, a little bit of chapter 6 verses 1 through 11, it actually started in chapter

5, where Jesus was being criticized and they were looking

for problems with Jesus.

They were looking for reasons to get mad at him, for reasons to indict him and even ultimately

kill him.

They were jealous of him.

And so, you know, Jesus is accused of breaking the law, picking corn on the Sabbath, you know,

working on the Sabbath. He healed the man with the withered hand. And we looked at four

attitudes real quick on the Sabbath day. And maybe you've had a chance to think more about that.

People, you know, have these attitudes. And we looked at the Sabbath as good, but not for me.

That's the first, like, that's for the Old Testament Jews. But we talked about how the Ten Commandments

also have the Sabbath day. So some people say, oh, you know, Sabbath is great, so I'll give it a
