There was a history class at a large university, one of those big, you know, 300 student type classes.

And it was the big final exam, and the professor was pacing in front, watching out for cheaters and kind of, you know, one of those professors.

And the rules were, you know, you had a certain amount of time to do the test, and then when

time's up, you put your pencils down, you had to come up and bring, whoever was still taking the

test, bring the papers to the front and put them on the pile.

Well, this one kid was running late, and he said, stop, put your pencils down, everybody

kind of reluctantly came and put their papers in the

pile. But one kid just kept writing, working on his test. And the professor said, a young man,

time is up. And the guy just kind of looked up and then looked back down and just kept working

on his paper. And the professor was sort of taken back by this. Like he couldn't believe the

audacity of this kid just to keep going,

even though the test, he's, you know, he's thinking, I'm going to fail this kid because he's just

not, well, after about 15 minutes, he just wanted to see how long this kid would go, you know.

After about 15 minutes, the kid stood up and walked up to the paper pile and he's, and,

and the professor said, you're not going to pass this exam. You just spend 15 extra

minutes and everybody else got. And the kid said, do you know who I am? And the professor said,

no, and I don't care who you are. And the kid said, good. And he stuck his paper right in the

middle of the pile. And he walked out of the room happily.

Yeah. and he walked out of the room happily. Sometimes, you know, we feel like we're running out of time, this life, the test that we're taking.

And also we feel like, does the Lord even know what I'm going through

or who I am or what I'm feeling?

Does the Lord know my struggles?
