When I was a youth pastor, one of the things I loved is, you know, on the big trips we did,

with youth ministry, we'd go to all the, you know, amusement parks.

And I have to admit, I've always liked enjoyed rides, roller coasters.

You know, the faster, the better.

I loved the accelerator.

And, you know, we used to call Nott's Berry Farm, Not Scary Farm,

because it just wasn't the rides, you know, they were great if you're a baby or whatever, but

if you wanted fast rides, but I remember when they installed the accelerator, which was kind of,

I think that was their attempt to say, okay, we don't want to be Not Scary Farm anymore. So

they made the accelerator, which basically is a ride that

lasts 30 seconds. But the main thing is you go zero to 82 miles an hour in 2.3 seconds, which is kind of cool.

Like, you know, your face kind of, your cheeks end up where your ears are as you're like,

and then it goes straight up like this for 200 feet, straight and then it just does curve and then straight down

there's no incline at all straight back down and then you go through a roll and then it comes back to the

beginning all in 30 seconds um the funny part is the acceleration part uh the zero to 82 in 2.3 seconds

that's so crazy that here's the way the ride goes it's like you're all ah for for 2.3 seconds. That's so crazy. Here's the way the ride goes. It's like you're all

for 2.3 seconds. And then that part's over. And then everybody's like, wow, that was crazy.

Meanwhile, you're going straight up and straight down. And you don't even care because it's not

even close to the acceleration was so crazy. People, like, that's not even the fun part of the ride is up down and

loops and all that stuff like oh yeah whatever that's time to talk about how exciting the ride was

but um but you know i've thought you know those drop ones that were like drop zone or what

some of those where they just kind of drop you um i've always thought those were out you know whatever
