Let's turn to Acts 23 for today's study as we take our text from our upcoming Wednesday night

study.

Acts chapter 23.

There was a paratrooper soldier in training and his commanding officer was giving barking out you know the orders

he said okay this is your first jump what you got to do is when I give you the signal you'll jump

out of the of the plane you'll arch your back and spread your arms count to 10 pull the rip

cord but if the rip cord doesn't deploy your shoot your primary shoot you have to observe and if it

doesn't deploy then you have to pull your And if it doesn't deploy, then you have to

pull your secondary rip cord of your front pack shoot. And then when you reach the ground safely,

then the truck will come, pick you all up, and take you back to base. So this soldier, he heard

the rules, and he did it exactly like they said that he was in the airplane he jumped out

pulled the ripcord you know arched his back 10 second count pulled the rip cord but nothing happened

so he reached down to his front pack and pulled his secondary shoot and nothing happened and the guy

said out loud as he's flying he says oh great the first shoot didn't deploy the second boot

shoot didn't employ and now the truck's probably not going to show up to pick me up.

Have you ever had things just kind of going wrong in your life?
