I was thinking this afternoon about years and years ago,

when Brooke was in kindergarten, my daughter,

she had the most intense responsibility

to bring home from school, the classroom chick.

A little chicken, a little yellow, cute, little peeping chick. A little chicken, a little yellow, cute, little peeping chick. And it was great. You know,

and it was her responsibility to take care of the chick, I think, for the whole weekend. And then

they bring the chick back and, you know, and then let some of the other kids do it and stuff. But

it was, it was great, you know, and, you know, Joey was just like a three-year-old at the time.

And Casey, who was just like, you know, 12 months old or whatever.

But the kids loved it.

And, you know, Deb and I were pretty excited.

The kids were, you know, being able to see a chicken.

I had chickens on our farm, so I grew up with that kind of stuff. It was kind of cool to see my kids,

you know, see what a little baby chick was like. But Deb and I, you know, you know how

is when you turn around just for a half a second when you're a parent and, and you have a three-year-old. Well, sure enough, we turned around and suddenly the chick's gone, and we're wondering where

it is.

We're wondering what happened.

And we noticed that Joey was also gone, and we thought, this could be trouble.

And see, Joey, at three years old, he had these little John Deere boots.

They were rubber boots, like garden boots, and he, you know, he walked around in John Deere boots, they were rubber boots like

garden boots and he, you know, he walked around and basically a diaper in those. That's kind of

what he did. He was just, that was his, that was his costume. And we come outside and sure enough,
