Why don't you turn with me to Acts chapter 11?

We're going through the Bible verse by verse, chapter by chapter by book.

We're in Acts chapter 11.

I'm going to do something here that's unique and new, something I've never done at Aston Creek before,

and I probably never do again. I don't know, but we're going to do it today.

Are you guys ready for that?

What I'm going to do is I'm going to do through the Bible.

It's just our normal thing, verse by verse, through the Bible, use this chapter,

but I'm also going to be making a big announcement during this teaching. So it's all in one. If you're wondering what that is, what we've been talking about,

it'll be part of the teaching, so sort of. So kind of killing two birds with one stone.

I love how where we're at in the Bible is what we're doing and where we're at in life.

Have you guys found that to be true when you're reading through the Bible personally or even as a church as we go through the Bible corporately? It's always amazing how

where we're at the Bible just speaks right into the things that we're being stretched in or being

encouraged to do or things not to do. The word just meets us right where we're at. And I find that to be

true even today. But our text here is Acts chapter 11, verse 19 is where we'll begin.

It says, now, they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen

traveled as far as Phineas and Cyprus and Antioch,

preaching the word to none, but unto the Jews only.

And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene,

which, when they were come to Antioch, spake into the Grecians,

preaching the Lord Jesus.
