Hey, let's get to it. First Corinthians chapter three. The study of the naughty church, the naughty church, where they need to be on the naughty mat.

Well, this is important to understand in First Corinthians. And there's something that I love about verse by verse, chapter by chapter, you know, book by book through the Bible. There's so many,

what would I call them, sort of natural byproducts of going through the Bible. And one of those

things is if you go through the Bible and you get a sense about the heart of the Lord for different

groups and people and books and stuff. It helps you to answer

some of the heavier theological questions. And we're going to see that tonight, I think. And

it's because the whole Bible has to, if you understand the Bible correctly, the whole Bible

has to fit together smoothly. You can't preach a doctrine that doesn't work for the Corinthian church, that also does work

for another church, but not for the Corinthian church.

You know, the church is the church.

And Paul is writing to the church of the Corinthian people there in Corinth.

And this is important because we know that they're kind of a

bad behaving church. Where else do we have bad behaving churches listed in the Bible? Anybody know?

Revelation chapter 3. Five of the seven churches Jesus addressed there in Revelation 2 and 3.

We see, you know, five churches that Jesus had things against the church.

But he still would call them the church.

And remember, there was a moment where Jesus would refer to something that kind of made

them not a church.

Does anybody remember what's the, of Jesus in Revelation that says

you're no longer a real church? Anybody? Somebody said, yeah, I will remove your lampstand or your

candle out. Like God, you know, the light of the church, you know, Jesus is the light of the world.

Jesus turns the light switch off and says no longer a church
