Summary

Oy. Troy breaks his computer and therefore sounds like he’s calling in from a submarine. But the rest of show is a long discussion about Games Masters experimenting with RPG and miniature mechanics. Julian and Rob discuss a fascinating game session before the team digresses onto iterative learning in game design and whether games do a good job of teaching through systems at all. 0:36.5	In a very embarrassing way, I spilled Coke on the hard drive.
0:41.7	Oh, gosh. On the hard drive? How do you spill it just on the hard drive?
0:46.2	Well, because the Dell case and some of the cables for my Frankenstein machine don't fit quite well. I run with an open case, so the
0:56.4	side is open. And I was on the phone with my health insurance company and knocked over a Coke.
1:05.8	I blame the American healthcare system. Perfect. Perfect. This never would have happened in Canada.
1:11.6	No, never.
1:12.4	Socialized healthcare has a whole separate clause about coax and hard drives.
1:16.7	Well, I wouldn't have had to move the Coke away from the side where the phone was on towards
1:20.4	where the computer was, so I wouldn't have spilled it.
1:23.2	So that kind of busted my computer and busted my day.
1:27.1	So I am talking to a netbook, which I love my little netbook, but it's really not meant for, you know, audio, visual, fun stuff.
