And today, we are going to be talking about

a brand new series.

I had to double check because I wasn't sure they'd done this, but the proper name of this game is not

Total War Thrones of Britannia.

It is Total War saga Thrones of Britannia, which is sort of the inaugural installment of a new branch of the Total

War series, I suppose.

And, you know, T.J., why don't we start with you here?

What the hell is a Total War saga?

And what's the big idea with Thrones of Britannia?

I mean, if I was going to be really unkind, I guess I could call it Total War Jr.

But that's on the pessimistic end of the scale.

What they're actually trying to do, which I think in terms of objectives is kind of the way

I would want them to go with the series, is doing these smaller time time periods focusing on a smaller area of the world,

but not giving up any of the kind of breadth in terms of like the map.

Well, the map is just Britain and Ireland in Thrones of Britannia,

but it's like the same number of provinces that made up the entire world map in Total War, Attila.

So it's just kind of zoomed in.
