doing Viking things, like attending staff meetings and making video games. Troy, how was the Arctic

North? I am so tired. Still a bit jet lag. It was a very, very good week with my friends and colleagues at Paradox.

I'm very glad to be home, though, and having a chance to come on the podcast,

though there was a lot of podcast chatter at the office. We have, understandably, quite a few fans there.

And they all really like Rob and put up with me.

Well, my ears were burning for a solid week, so now I understand why. We also welcome back our friend Fraser Brown. Hello.

Finally, we have first-time guest Tim McDonald of PC Invasion. Tim, welcome to the show.

As well you should be, because you might be the representative, really positive person called upon to defend your opinion and feelings and emotions for a solid hour.

But we'll get to that.

So today's topic has been brewing for a little while.

A few months ago, some 3MA listeners reached out to ask if I'd heard of a game called Thea

The Awakening from Mujah Games. Then more people asked about it, and then it won our 3MA

backer poll and moved to the top of our agenda for this month, and then Rock Paper Shotgun asked

me to review it.

And so a lot of us have been playing around with it and trying it out, and it's sort of the

it game of, I think, the 4X space right now.

And I think it's proving to be a little bit divisive.

And I don't just mean, like like in terms of my opinion versus like

Troy's opinion and Tim's, but I spent, it took me seven and a half hours to write my review
