So if you don't listen to both podcasts, we recently discovered that Sean here actually has discovered the Dow of Gaming,

basically, and is living the way. And the path to his enlightenment apparently has been

Europa Universalist 4, which is a game we haven't revisited in ages in this game. It comes up tangentially in a number of shows, but European Universe Universe 4 has continued to grow and change quite extensively since the last time we addressed it in detail. And I couldn't think of anyone to discuss those changes with that would be better qualified than his highness

here who has logged now i've lost track what is the most recent tally of hours played i did just

pull that up just because i knew you were going to ask i have a scant a minor amount of hours i have

841 hours of e EU4 played to date.

I love this game.

It's fantastic.

It's my favorite game of the past insert number here years.

Before we start getting into the general changes,

I'm actually kind of curious.

Like, I've never considered you terribly,

I've never considered a strategy guy in the way, like Troy Goodfellow is a strategy guy.

Like, you're kind of a generalist in games. You play strategy games. You play a lot of other stuff.

But I'm not sure I can think of another case where I've seen you click this hard, this monomaniacly with a game as with the euphoria.

I'm kind of curious, like you've had a lot to reflect on this.

What about this game, like sort of dug its hook so deeply into you?

Yeah, I agree with that idea that, you know, I've always loved strategy games.

And I've played them for 20, 25 years.
