This is our last show of the month, and it is the first in a short series we'll be doing.

Some of our most popular episodes are our classic game analysis shows where we take an old strategy game from the past and apply new eyes to it.

So towards the end of the year,

we're going to be looking at a few console strategy games.

This is not an area we cover a lot.

It is certainly not my expertise,

but fortunately, we have very, very many intelligent friends

who know a lot about these things.

And it's a way for us to cover, I think, some neglected titles and put them in the context of larger game universe.

So we have two returning voices to help me through the first game, which is Final Fantasy

Tactics, a 1997 classic for the PlayStation, which has been released for multiple

platforms since. Joining us, we have our sound editor and producer, whose name you hear at the end of

every show, The Amazing Michael Hermes. Hello, I'm excited to be here and talk about Final Fantasy
