So tonight, I think we're kind of bringing the, you know, Bruce and I have been working on a little project, the winter of wargaming.

And maybe that's turned into a bit of a long, hard Russian winter of war gaming, given that it's now May.

And you might be listening to this in June, given how recording schedules work out.

Nonetheless, we're going to be kind of winding that down.

We're also going to be, you know, sort of taking a broader view today

and having a bit of an unbounded discussion of wargaming

and more generally strategy gaming and game design.

And to help us do that, we are joined by senior game designer at Faraxis, Ananda Gupta.

Hi guys, thanks for having me. Thanks for coming back. It's fantastic to get you back so

quickly. Well, you know, you guys, whenever I hear unbounded discussion, that that's a good

sell for me to come. Yeah, that's it. That's, that's, that's our goal here today is to, is to

unboundedly discuss a lot of things. But I kind of wanted it to get you involved in this,

because I know last time you were on, we did sort of touch a little bit on a whole bunch of,

a whole bunch of games that we sort of both remembered. And as we were doing this whole thing about, you know, the Winter of War

Gaming and what kind of games we play and how they represent various things, I just, it got

me thinking about how amazing gaming is right now.
