I think I could have timed today's episode a little bit better, but it is what it is.

Hi, I'm Dave. Welcome to Walking is Fitness, a daily 10-minute podcast designed to provide you

0:12.0

with a little added motivation to get out, take the walk, and to build a life-changing walking habit.

Today's 10-minute walk starts right after this.

I'm always intrigued when I hear someone describe walking as boring.

0:34.6

I don't like walking. It's boring. Can't do that. It's boring. I get bored when I walk and if that's you I mean

0:40.9

no disrespect it's just not my reality it's not my perspective and I've never found walking

0:49.2

boring I don't mean to say that every walk is the most exciting thing I've ever done,

2:06.7

walking that I'm enjoying right now is different from the weather that I walked in yesterday the

2:11.9

day before the day before that I'm not a weather scientist. And to my untrained eye, I could say, yeah, I've been

2:22.3

in weather like this before, but precisely like this? Uh, probably not. Where you're walking,

2:33.3

maybe you're taking a different route

2:35.1

maybe you're taking the same route

2:37.5

but doing it a little bit differently

2:39.6

and it's not just

2:42.2

where you're walking but it's what's happening
