Are you a procrastinator? This comes up again and again in my work, in my life, and I have to say personally after doing a lot of work on myself of course over the years I am not really

a procrastinator but I know that it's a very big problem and I know that it's something that I used to struggle with.

And I have one word, one word that I use in my coaching, I use it on myself,

I would use this with a friend if a friend was you know

delaying on something that would ultimately bring her good. There's this one

word that I come back to again and again to really bust through what

procrastination does to us, right?

It's kind of like it envelopes us in like this thick mist that keeps us just very still.

It prevents us from doing things.

It prevents us from taking the action that's going to get us the results that we want.

And that's really where the disconnect lies, isn't it?

Because I've noticed that procrastination is largely two things. First of all,

it's the inability to be

uncomfortable,

if that's what we've been putting off.

Or if it's sitting down to write our book,

it's dealing with our own creative blocks,

our own courage, our own ability to believe that we can put the

words on the paper.

Procrastination is that the inability or the lack of desire to deal with negative emotions, which is natural.
